Congratulations on your acceptance to NYU Steinhardt, Counseling@NYU. Our online Master of Arts in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness program equips you with the skills to help people from all backgrounds achieve lives of wellness, health, and meaning. The program requires a total of 60 credit hours and can be completed in 21 to 30 months, depending on when you start.

Complete Your Enrollment
- Sign and complete your Intent to Enroll document (you will receive this via email).
- Activate your account in Albert, NYU’s student information system.
- Pay your enrollment deposit.
- Apply for FAFSA and make an appointment with the financial aid office via StudentLink
Before You Begin Classes
You will need to complete the following tasks before you begin classes. Select each task to view instructions.
Student ID
To obtain a University ID, you can visit our campus resources webpage and follow the steps to obtain your student ID. If you are outside of the NYC area we recommend picking up your ID at an immersion.
