APSY-GE 2008: Sexual Decision-Making and Risk-Taking in Adolescence

This course offers an exploration of the relationship between aspects of self and society that affect adolescent decision-making/risk-taking, especially in regard to sexuality. Adolescents in America’s Northeast are the focus of study. The complexity of modern-day sexual decision-making for them is contrasted to the same kind of decision-making for adolescents in the late 18th and 19th centuries in the same geographical region.
