APSY-GE 2668: Internship in School Counseling II
Students complete 200–300 hours of supervised counseling experience in their school setting and participate in a weekly university seminar. Students provide individual and group counseling as well as career development and transition experiences for Pre-K–12 students. Interns consult and collaborate with students, faculty, administrators, parents, and other stakeholders on academic, career, and social/emotional issues based upon National Standards for School Counseling Programs (or in accordance with the American School Counselor Association National Model).
