Choose from two concentrations: K–12 or Bilingual School Counseling, which teaches you to address challenges experienced by students for whom English is a second language.

Collaborate with a classmate during an online counseling lab that will prepare you for your practicum and internship experiences. Then, during 100 hours of practicum experience, and 600 combined internship hours, help pre-K–12 students at NYU-approved public or private schools in your area live healthy lives and thrive.
In addition, when available, visit the NYU Steinhardt campus in New York City for an in-person immersion experience. Apply the key skills learned in the program through intensive training alongside classmates, with Steinhardt faculty support.
